Integreret forstærker med MM/MC riaa, 2x70 w i 8 ohm, 2 x 125 w i 4 ohm
Beskrivelse: The new, totally remote-controlled discrete components circuit deliver crystal-clear power up to 70W per channel on 8 Ohm, with impressive dynamic headroom. Very accurate protections save the power stage and the speakers from burn-outs, while allowing for full dynamic power delivery in every normal listening situation. The high-performance discrete components preamplifier circuit operates a perfect interface between the integrated bufferless resistor network potentiomenter and the power amp's input, contributing to the balanced sound of the amplifier. Solid state input selectors allow for indefinite best quality performance (no sound detriment due to metallic contacts ageing and wear-out).
The Puccini70 REV2.0 has a phono input with which both MC and MM cartridges can be used and has a MonOut output to directly drive an active subwoofer.
A special bypass feature, selectable by remote's "setup" option, allows the user to turn the Puccini 70 REV2.0 into a power amplifier on a specified input, to include the amplifier in a multichannel system as front speakers power amp, while using the same speakers for two channel listening using the stereo sources connected to the amplifier.
The seven-keys solid brass remote control allows for a more flexible control of the Puccini 70 REV2.0. Of course, all the main features of the amplifiers can be used by the front panel's simple controls.
Great care has been used in the passive and active components selection, as usual for Audio Analogue.

What are the technical and sonic differencies between the Puccini, Puccini S.E., Puccini Remote and Puccini S.E. Remote?
The integrated amplifiers in the "Compositors Series" fall into two categories, depending on the operating features: those without remote control capability and those remote controlled. The amplifiers without remote control (Puccini and Puccini Special Edition) feature a simple but refined circuit based on high-performance op-amps, whereas the "Remote" models feature a totally discrete components' circuit. Both preamp section and power circuit of the latters show low feedback and large open-loop bandwidth. The output stage is common to both categories. Differencies between a "normal" model and a "Special Edition" one relate to power devices (two per channel in the base model, twice as much in the Special Edition model), and power transformers: one 150VA unit in the base model, two 200VA in the Special Edition. Besides, passive components' quality is greater in Special Edition models (the value for some components in a S.E. amp is ten times as much that of same type components in the base model). Last, the Puccini Special Edition (and the new version Puccini Remote S.E.) are suitable for bi-wiring.
